Stewart Brown

Stewart Brown, Genuine Health's founder and president, learned a long time ago what a body can do if it's well taken care of. Many years ago, with the help of a naturopathic doctor, Stewart overcame chronic migraines and improved his overall health by changing his diet and adding all-natural supplements to his daily routine. Since then, he's been committed to helping others achieve optimum health.

Stewart, who earned his economics degree at Western University (and who holds an honorary Doctor of Naturopathic Philosophy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine), started his career as a sales rep in the natural food industry, then moved on to form Supplements Plus, a chain of natural-health stores in Toronto. During that time, he met Sam Graci and became passionate about the benefits of Sam's product, greens+ -- so much so that he sold the stores to work exclusively with Sam and bring greens+ to a wider audience.

Almost 10 years later, under Stewart's leadership, Genuine Health has become an industry leader, consistently providing Canadians with award-winning, all-natural products made from superior ingredients. Now, the company puts more than 40 different supplements on store shelves--with many more formulas in development, more research under way on Genuine Health products, and more collaboration to come with leading health experts.

But that's not all. A passionate environmentalist, Stewart recently helped launch Genuine Planet, representing Genuine Health’s commitment to improving the health of the planet by taking its own steps to reduce the company's footprint.

Outside the office, Stewart is busy raising three boys. Always up for action and adventure, the four always try to make time for their passions: mountain biking, skiing, racquet sports, and travelling.
